LOCATION

Technion, Haifa

EMPLOYMENT TYPE

Full-time

What You’ll Do

Join our innovative research team and contribute to pioneering work in the field of organ-on-a-chip (OoC) platforms for modeling human heart function in health and disease states. You will have the opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge research that aims to revolutionize the development of platforms for cardiovascular disease modeling, drug screening, and diagnostics. Be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to advancing the boundaries of cardiac precision medicine.
We are seeking individuals with a strong passion for interdisciplinary research and a desire to create organ-on-chip tissue models that closely mirror human biology, specifically cardiac vascularization. If you are interested in replicating human cardiac physiology and pathology in vitro by uniquely combining stem cell technology, OoC platforms, bioinformatics analysis, and biosensor design, then this is the role for you.

Who You are

We are looking for candidates with a solid background in biomedical engineering, tissue engineering, or a related field, with a focus on cardiovascular research. The ideal candidate should have experience in stem cell technology, biofabrication techniques, and a strong grasp of bioengineering principles. If you have a passion for unraveling the cellular and molecular mechanisms that govern the human heart in health and disease, we encourage you to apply.
Candidates with expertise in organ-on-chip (OoC) technology, bioinformatics, and biosensor design will be given preference. If you are driven by the prospect of contributing to the development of advanced models for disease states, drug screening, and bioengineered tissues for implantation therapies, we would love to hear from you.
